As part of the Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule, and The Dead, Warren Haynes has helped shape the diverse sonic landscape of American rock. On his new solo LP, Ashes & Dust, Haynes trades in his usual style, focusing more on Americana and Folk-based songwriting, bringing forth tracks that he’s held on to, and held back, for thirty years.
